Maintenance Technician: Rockford, IL

Our client in Rockford, Illinois is looking for a hard-working, energetic individual to join their team as a Maintenance Technician. This is a highly skilled position that involves a combination of electrical and mechanical duties.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance as planned.

Perform production equipment changeovers.

Maintain proper records for maintenance, inventory of parts, and emergency repairs.

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment including power and control wiring, motors, controls, electronic devices, and building electrical maintenance.

Troubleshoots PLC and other electronic systems. Able to troubleshoot and program machine logic systems.

Reads and interprets schematics, parts manuals, blueprints, sketches, hydraulic diagrams, and machine manuals.

Perform building maintenance as directed by Maintenance Manager.

Maintain sufficient records to support the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (EAM) including work orders and parts management.

Operate Powered Industrial Truck, Boom Lift and Scissor Lift per OSHA regulations rules and guidelines.

Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

5 years’ experience with advanced skills in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.

Excellent work history in the last 5 years.

High School Diploma

Technical certifications and training applicable to servicing industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment a plus.

Pay for Maintenance Technician: Starting at $23+/hour.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday from 2:30pm - 11pm.
