Riverside Management and Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager for a private restaurant at a newer 55+ residential community in Lincoln, CA. The ideal candidate will be a food service professional with at least 4 years of restaurant, hotel, or upscale food service environment experience, has a passion for providing member-centric experience, and is service-oriented in nature. Essential Duties include (but are not limited to):

Establish and maintain beverage procurement guidelines, and Liquor Control Board requirements.

Enforce responsible alcohol service policies to protect from liability.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food and beverage areas.

Complete opening and closing checklists.

Prepare and submit weekly employee schedules and bi-weekly payroll summaries to the Resort Director.

Plan, organize, manage, and monitor all daily activity to include financial requirements, ordering of products, maintaining appropriate stock levels, and accurate monthly inventory.

Ensure daily walkthroughs are conducted to ensure a safe, presentable environment, and that courtesy and efficiency are exercised throughout.

Protect facility assets while operating within the guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as established by Riverside Management & Financial Services, Inc.

Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service.

Collaborate with the Resort Executive Chef to create delectable and visually appealing cuisine.

Promote strong member relationships through a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Recruit, train, develop and assess all food and Beveridge staff.

The ideal candidate will possess these qualifications:

4+ years of restaurant/bar management experience, preferably in a hotel or luxury environment.

California Food Manager Certification.

4-degree in culinary arts or food service management are preferred.

Exceptional knowledge of food and beverages (wine, beer, and spirits), current on the latest food and beverage industry trends and best practices.

In-depth understanding of California's alcohol laws.

Working knowledge of various computer software applications (i.e., MS Office, Restaurant Management Software, Jonas Point of sale).

The ability to identify and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.

Ability to delegate assignments, duties, and roles while meeting budgetary objectives.

Exceptional oral and written communication and leadership abilities.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

This position offers a competitive starting salary between $65,000 and $75,000 with generous employee benefits.
