Job Description
JOB SCOPE:
Responsible for providing guests with services and reservations as well as fulfilling requests in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Reservations
Makes and confirms travel arrangements for guests including car service, airline confirmations, taxis, buses etc.
Arranges for babysitters for guests
Makes arrangements for rental cars as well as delivery to Parker Palm Springs
Keeps informed on local restaurants in order to make recommendations as well as reservations
Makes arrangements for outside activities such as golf, horseback riding, hiking etc.
Makes arrangements for floral orders
Services
Provides copying and fax services
Provides maps and directions as needed
Calls all guests in order to assist them with plans before arrival
Lends support to receptionists and porters
Acts as liaison between guest and in-house services
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
Keen knowledge of the Coachella Valley and surrounding area in such areas of events, dining, sport activities, shopping and transportation.
Outgoing personality
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Extensive knowledge of the local area and attractions.
Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Proficiency in relevant technology, including reservation systems and communication tools.
Desirable:

Pay rate for this position is $21 an hour.
