Janitorial/Grounds Keeper
Position Summary
Havasu Riviera Marina is seeking a Janitorial/Grounds Keeper. This position is responsible for the daily upkeep of the facility restrooms, trash removal and upkeep of marina facility grounds including, but is not limited to, hands on service duties for all restroom facilities including the C-store, trash removal from the docks, beaches and parking lots, and overall grounds/landscaping upkeep of the facility. This position reports to the Marina Operations Manager.
General duties
Perform all services and marina duties on a regular schedule, including but not limited to daily restroom upkeep. This includes cleaning of stalls, showers, sinks and related equipment. Replacement of paper products required for use.
Removal of all trash from receptacles located throughout the marina and placed in designated dumpsters, cleaning of receptacles as needed.
Grooming of the designated beaches, trimming of weeds and other duties assigned.
Report any injuries to the Marina Manager & Security
Must understand cleaning supplies and simple tools, ability use standard PPE, read and follow directions and instructions.
You must be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments with frequent exposure to extreme heat, wind, and cold.
Other duties as assigned by management.

Notify management of guest complaints at the time they occur. Practice effective service recovery by rectifying any complaints as soon as possible
Because of the fluctuating demands of the company’s operation, it may be necessary that each Employee Partner perform a multitude of different functions therefore, as an essential part of your position, you will be expected to help others when occasions arise
Adhere to all company, marina, and front gate written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc.
Communicate effectively with proper grammar
Wear a clean and neat uniform daily that follows Havasu Riviera Marina Standards
Maintain the reputation of the marina and common areas as a clean and welcoming facility
Must be comfortable using both Microsoft Office applications, basic office equipment, and web-based applications via computer, tablet, and phone as needed
Ability to interact positively with supervisors, management, co-workers, guests, owners, and public with skills to provide excellent customer service
Ability to produce work in a timely manner which is accurate, complete and of high quality
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay based on experience.
Sick pay as required by Arizona State Law.
Growth potential into a Maintenance Technician.
Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel or crouch. Ability to work outdoors withstanding temperature extremes and inclement weather; ability to climb, stoop and bend 50% of the time; also requires manual dexterity to operate equipment. Lift, carry, and reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise moves in a constantly changing environment. Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Education and Experience
Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred.
CPR/First Aide Certification preferred.
Proven track record of performing at the highest level of ethical work standards.
