Accounting Assistant

We are offering a $1,000.00 sign on bonus!

We are seeking to hiring a full time (40 hours per week) Accounting Assistant. Hours are Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position is responsible for assisting the Accounting Department with daily functions including, but not limited to analysis, monthly and annual reporting.

The responsibilities for this position include the following:

Process monthly contract billing

Prepare and maintain monthly contract analysis reports on expenditures and revenues

Prepare daily deposits and record on spreadsheet

Handle accounting petty cash box reimbursements and requests

Maintain and execute EAP contract on a monthly basis

Enter and calculate agency postage expense

Prepare childcare bill in CCFA

Assist with external audit preparation and requests as needed

Review and process section 125 and dependent care information

Respond to reasonable expectations of the Agency and/or supervisor.

Education and Experience requirements:

Associates Degree preferred.

Must possess competent computer skills, proficiency in Excel and Word required.

1-2 years of accounting experience preferred.
