Mental Health Associate (Full Time)

Job Description

High Focus Centers in Cranford is a premier provider of outpatient treatment programs for mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. Our highly trained staff create individualized, comprehensive and robust treatment plans designed to meet each client’s treatment goals. At High Focus Centers in Cranford we are currently seeking a Mental Health Associate to join our amazing team of behavioral healthcare professionals primarily handling responsibilities that include observation and monitoring in group therapy, during program breaks, providing clinical and administrative support, and driving our clients. Schedule: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday

Hourly Rate: $16.00/hour

Responsibilities:

Demonstrates an understanding of adolescent growth and development and must be able to co-facilitate a didactic and experiential group or is willing to learn to co-facilitate groups.

Involves driving, sitting, walking, handling charts and talking on the phone for extended periods of time.

Participate in written and verbal shift changes by communicating with staff either verbally or in written communication logs, shift updates.

Maintains safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients as directed by supervisors and clinical team.

Support the daily structure through helping clients attend all scheduled activities.

Under direction of supervisors, facilitates activities including recreational groups and meetings.
