Pay: $60k/year to $65k/year depending on experience

Work Hours: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, some overtime as needed

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and manage the recruitment process, including attending job fairs to seek talent.

Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees and coordinate orientation sessions.

Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions for employees, including safety and compliance training.

Address and resolve employee complaints and grievances.

Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.

Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS.

Oversee employee retention by tracking turnover ratio, conducting stay interviews, and benefits surveys.

Work with the management team to ensure performance reviews and one-on-ones are conducted regularly and properly.

Plan company events to foster a positive and engaging work environment.

Advise management on HR-related matters to support business objectives.

Maintain and manage devices provided to field employees, such as cell phones and tablets, ensuring they are provided to employees in proper working condition and are returned during offboarding.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.

3+ years prior experience as an HR Generalist.

SHRM-CP certification or willingness to obtain within 12 months of employment - we will reimburse for the certification and pay for annual SHRM membership.

Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Bamboo HR.

Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.

Ability to maintain confidentiality on all matters.

Advanced computer skills, including fast typing and the ability to maneuver through different screens and programs quickly.

Professional phone presence.

Strong understanding of FMLA with experience handling FMLA.

Experience handling Worker's Compensation.

Understanding of how to handle pre-adverse and adverse actions on background checks.

SHRM-SCP certification (preferred).

BA in Human Resources (preferred).
