Inside Sales/Move Consultant
The Inside Sales/Move Consultant is charged with the responsibility of making people glad they contacted us about their move, first and foremost. They report to the Sales Manager and work closely with the entire staff.
Our goal is to respond to each customer call, text or email with a smile, making a fantastic first impression every time! The Inside Sales/Move Consultant will be trained on the SmartMoving system, RingCentral phone system and will utilize them in conjunction with the positive attitude, sales and customer service skills they bring to make it as easy as possible for our customers to get an estimate for their move – over the phone, via email and/or text. He/she will be tasked with helping estimate, sell and book jobs over the phone and/or coordinating the scheduling of onsite or virtual estimates for other sales team members as needed. Working with the team to assist with problem-solving and collaborative communication efforts is important.
He/she will be expected to be friendly, organized, detail-oriented and committed to our team's continued success. Documenting appropriate notes in SmartMoving for every customer (crew notes, internal notes, and customer facing) is vital. Our company's reputation for excellent customer service is paramount, so it is critical that customer interactions are kept warm, friendly, sincere and professional. An eye for details, following up and following things through is essential.
Working as a team to maintain a high booking percentage, outstanding customer service ratings and helping out with varying tasks in a correct, cost effective and time appropriate manner is critical.
Specific Responsibilities
Respond to every lead within 5 minutes.
Answer every incoming phone call with a smile, and determine opportunities for us to provide service
Respond to all leads, calls, emails and texts promptly, ensuring each customer interaction is a positive one
Help customers with questions, work up estimates, follow up on quotes, take accurate/detailed messages, and utilize other team members' input to solve problems
Help us maintain best practices in the industry by working with management to update sales scripts and other templates to make us the best in customer service
Annual booked revenue goal is $600,000
Enter customer data accurately, take detailed notes and update accounts/files appropriately
Contribute to the team with additional day to day responsibilities as needed
A fundamental measure of success will be maintaining an average booking percentage of 50%.
This position would build experience for future growth into Outside Sales, Management and more.
This is a full-time position, based in our main office in Avon Lake, OH. Our regular office hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Compensation Structure is $36-40k annual salary (paid weekly) plus 2% sales commission (paid monthly).
After 90 days of employment: Health insurance, 100% match IRA (retirement account), 7 paid holidays annually, 2 weeks of paid time off. Annual bonus based on tenure/company performance.
At 3 months from date of hire, candidate should exhibit proficiency in the following:
Quoting jobs independently and accurately
Booking at least 50% of the jobs quoted
Accurately scheduling Virtual/On-site Estimate appointments
Booking/scheduling proficiently in SmartMoving
"Wowing" customers with friendliness
Working independently and communicating consistently with the team
Earn trust from the team and get positive feedback from colleagues in other departments
Show troubleshooting and de-escalation skills
Completing tasks with accuracy and efficiency
Have helped document our sales process and multiple sales scripts for us to use as a team
Comfortable use of Microsoft Outlook, SmartMoving, Zoom, and RingCentral
Demonstrate effective, professional communication skills
