Job Summary:

As a Composite Shop Manager at Recaro Automotive, you will be responsible for managing the production and quality of composite components and materials used in automotive seating solutions. Your role is integral to ensuring that these materials are produced efficiently, adhere to quality standards, and embrace innovation in composites and advanced materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Composite Production Management:

Oversee the manufacturing processes for composite components and materials, ensuring production schedules are met.

Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with Quality Control teams to ensure that composite components meet stringent quality and safety standards.

Address and resolve quality-related issues.

Materials and Processes:

Explore and integrate innovative composite materials and processes, including advanced materials, to enhance product quality and performance.

Technical Specifications:

Work with Quality Control Team to define and document technical specifications and requirements for composite manufacturing, considering advanced materials and technologies.

Innovation and Creativity:

Contribute creative ideas and concepts to enhance the production of composite components and materials, with a focus on composites and advanced materials.

Budget Management:

Assist in the development and management of the composite manufacturing budget.

Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to the Global Site Manager.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in composite manufacturing.

Facilitate safety training and adherence.

Equipment Upkeep:

Assist Maintenance team in defining and executing preventative and ongoing maintenance schedules.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to composite manufacturing processes, materials, and advanced material specifications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Proven experience in composite manufacturing and management, with a strong background in composites and advanced materials, preferably in the automotive industry.

Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes and materials.

Excellent problem-solving and innovation skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

Budget management experience.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
