The City of Minot is accepting applications for the position of Airport Facility Technician I at the Airport, with an application deadline of Tuesday, May 14th, 2024 at 4:00 PM. This position is open to all qualified internal and external applicants.
All applicants will be required to write the civil service exam for this position, scheduled for Monday, May 20th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Minot Municipal Auditorium, Room 201. (420 3rd Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701)+ Nature of Work
This is manual and some semi-skilled work in the care, cleaning, and maintenance of Airport facilities and grounds. Must be available to work a flexible schedule that covers 7 days a week, 24 hours a day to include holidays. Please see attached Job Description for complete job details.
+ Education, Experience, Other Requirements
Graduation from high school and experience in general maintenance work, construction discipline, or custodial, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
The preferred candidate would have experience working at an airport.
+ Compensation and Benefits
The assigned salary range for this position under the 2024 City of Minot Annual Pay Plan is a Grade 44, which is $18.07 per hour- $26.83 per hour or $37,590-$55,802 annually.
This is a full time, FLSA Non-Exempt position eligible for overtime.
