Welder Trainee

Erie Forge and Steel, Inc. has immediate openings for Welder Trainees for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. Erie Forge is looking for individuals who are interested in working in the welding trade and have little or no welding experience or schooling. This is an 18-month entry level position (after passing a 90-probation period), where you will be trained to perform all duties in our welding and heat treat department up to including training and passing two weld certifications and our welder workmanship requirements. After the successful completion of this training, you will be eligible to bid into our higher welding classes.
