Azure Technical Architect

We are looking for a results-driven and innovative Azure Technical Architect for our Toronto office to design and implement Microsoft Azure solutions based on clients’ requirements and best practices!

You will leverage your strong business and technical consulting skills to architect and implement proven solutions that solve business challenges.

A Day in the Life:

Designing, architecting and implementing industry leading cloud technical solutions by understanding client requirements through your savvy business and technical consulting skills

Creating detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams and documents, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations information

Working as a subject matter expert to deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementation

Managing different Cloud platforms including Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and various environments including public, private, and hybrid

Supporting pre-sales engagements and qualification of sales opportunities

Working with Long View business units and practices to ensure sales opportunities progress efficiently and in a timely fashion towards successful closure

Attending and representing Long View at industry events

What You Bring:

5+ years of industry experience working as a subject matter expert in the Microsoft technology stack

3+ years of experience advising on, managing and/or successfully delivering multi cloud solutions, specifically Azure (IaaS, PaaS or SaaS)

Familiarity with Microsoft architecture and best practices

Self-motivation and a desire to be interactive and adaptable in a collaborative working environment

Ability to:

o Grasp new technology concepts rapidly and assess their relevance for business needs

o Effectively communicate to different audiences clearly and concisely in written, oral and various presentation formats

o Manage multiple projects through to completion while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

Strong consulting skills

Experience with scripting, PowerShell, SQL or other

Ability to demonstrate the right balance of technical, analytical and communication skills
