Major responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for trading, oversight, and the management of the Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) portfolio at ACI.

Work closely with the securitized team to identify relative value opportunities and generate buy/sell trade ideas to optimize portfolios and generate alpha.

Present investment thesis and positioning to clients and internal stakeholders.

Develop and maintain relationships with sell side firms, issuers, and other buy side participants.

Influence the buildout of new technologies to facilitate portfolio management and underwriting processes.

Focus on identifying and sourcing attractive investment opportunities for client portfolios, getting best-execution and conducting broader portfolio/market surveillance.

Cover and monitor new issue and secondary markets, propose trade ideas and run bid lists, as needed.

Conduct ongoing surveillance on existing holdings.

Develop conviction, based on insights, and know how to express it in sizing consistent with portfolio objectives.

Education/Experience:

7-10 years experience as Portfolio Manager and Analyst

BA Degree required

· Master’s Degree and CFA preferred

For NY and CA based candidates, the salary range for this role is $185,000.00 - $225,000.00. Actual offers are based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position is eligible for cash incentive providing the potential to earn more.
