Senior Tax Manager (Partnership Track)

My team and I area working with a great medium-sized, Full-service, CPA firm that's well established and local to the Oakland County, MI area. They are actively on the search for an Estate & Trust Tax Manager.

Role: Senior Tax Manager (Partnership Track)

What you do:

Lead multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax preparation, research, planning and consulting services for a variety of clients

Perform research and tax analysis and document findings/conclusions

Keep up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law

Develop, supervise and delegate responsibilities to tax team

Provide exceptional client service and develop trusting client relationships

Generate new business and cross-sell to leads with existing clients

What you need:

5-10 years of relevant tax experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other recognized business credential required

CPA licensure required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong leadership and people management skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx Engagement and QuickBooks

Location: Oakland County, MI (Onsite)

Software: CCH

Benefits: 80% MDF, 14 paid holidays, half-day fridays, Commission Program

Compensation: $140k+ and Commensurate with experience

Hours: Managers are expected to complete 2,400 hours annually.
