Bookkeeper/Accountant/Tax Preparer - PART TIME POSITION / FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE / URGENTLY HIRING

SaintyCo US/ Gummy Innovations, LLC. is a small, start-up company seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented bookkeeper to help this company grow and reach its goals!

Job Type: Part-time

Physical setting:

Office/Hybrid

Schedule:

20-30 hours per week

Monday to Friday

Ability to commute

Sarasota, FL (34243): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) REQUIRED

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Management:

Utilize QuickBooks for tax preparedness, balance the books and generate financial documents.

Record all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments, into the appropriate accounting software or ledger.

Reconcile bank statements with the company's financial records to ensure all transactions have been accurately recorded and to identify any discrepancies.

Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Manage payroll and employee compensation processes.

Leadership and Team Support:

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Coordinate office operations and ensure efficient workflow.

Be open minded and able to adapt to rapid change.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to finance.

Assist in the preparation of necessary reports and documentation for audits.

Vendor and Customer Relations:

Create purchase orders and communicate with vendors, suppliers, and customers regarding financial matters.

Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, which involve processing invoices, making payments, and tracking customer payments.

Resolve financial discrepancies and inquiries promptly.

Technology and Systems:

Utilize accounting software and tools proficiently.

Stay updated on industry-specific software and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).

Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management (preferred).

Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (required).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Pay:

WEEKLY PAY!

Negotiable based on experience.

Opportunity to convert to full-time is available at a later date.
