Job Description

Responsible for preparing, deploying, and managing enterprise desktop software, and managing group policies. Perform maintenance, repair, upgrades, and configuration of hardware, software, and operating systems in an inter-networked environment. Responsible for engineering, building, and creating processes to maintain PC builds. Manage group policy objects, Active Directory, domain name service. May participate in planning and analysis efforts related to hardware/software deployment. May participate in efforts to evaluate, test, and introduce new technology and approaches. Follow approved procedures and quality standards including the adherence to the enterprise change management process-define, comply, and enforce. Consult and provide recommendations and/or solutions for custom deployments.

Requirements:

· Requires a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of five years of IT experience, of which at least three years must be specialized.

· Specialized experience includes troubleshooting and configuring of Windows systems, and software distribution and troubleshooting.

· Must be able to demonstrate experience with the installation, configuration, and use of a wide range of COTS desktop and network software, and COTS desktop hardware.

· Must have experience with Active Directory, Windows update process, advanced knowledge of Windows registry settings, file and folder security, knowledge of local/domain user security, operating system troubleshooting.

· Must have experience with desktop standards, software deployment techniques and tools, and data integrity and recovery.

· Strong scripting language skills in VBScript, batch, and other relevant scripting languages.

· ITSM ticketing system experience required, ServiceNow experience is preferred.

· Mac support experience is a plus.

· Must have a positive and patient customer service attitude.

· Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.

· Experience supporting a nationwide mid to large Federal agency enterprise is a plus.

· A+ and MCP/MTA or MMDA certifications are required. ACSP certification is a plus.

· Must be able to obtain agency suitability clearance.Company Description
