Controller / Assistant CFO

Well established, face paced Distribution company is looking for an experienced, hands-on, senior accountant to work with our executive team and staff to move our company to the next level. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as either a senior accountant or controller. The individual should have a good understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication, and written skills, and be able to multitask. Candidates must be able to solve problems and think outside of the box. Proficiency in computer programs a must SAP and proprietary software. This position is not remote, requires being in the office Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.

Responsibilities

Oversee accounting and work on all areas of operations.

Degree highly preferred

Longevity in work history

Bilingual

Perform month-end closing of books including preparation of all journal entries.

Coordinate with Accountants on year-end financials

Perform all reporting requirements to banking institutions and taxing authorities.

Review all sales invoices and vendor invoices.

Maintain relationships with customers and vendors.

Prepare departmental budgets.

Maintain daily cash flow.
