Leading Civil Engineering Firm, with offices in Frederick, Maryland and Washington DC is seeking a full-time administrative assistant in our Washington DC office. This is a great opportunity for Mid-level, detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated individual. Prior experience with civil engineering firm preferred.

Responsibilities:
3-5 years of experience in administrative role
Provide general administrative support and document management including, but not limited to, emailing, scanning, copying, mailing, project filing/organization, permitting and bookkeeping
Order and maintain inventory of office, kitchen, and field supplies
Other duties as assigned

Experience Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Ability to operate effectively and efficiently with little supervision
Courteous and professional point of contact
Exhibit high level of client focus representing the branch manager
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
Must be proficient with software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
Ability to assist engineers with multiple ongoing projects, establish and adjust to rapidly evolving priorities
Assist engineers with permit processing, invoicing, and project coordination
Excellent written, oral communication skills and phone etiquette
Must possess valid driver’s license
Must be able to pass background and drug screening checks
Prior office experience with a civil engineering firm is a plus
