Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Industrial Maintenance Mechanic who can manage and perform all physical aspects of maintaining our machinery and equipment and lead our effort to become a top-notch preventative maintenance program. Candidates should have a minimum of seven years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance and be familiar with quality management system principles. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will work closely with senior management, operating management, and the company’s supplier network.

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repairs on all machinery and equipment, and other fixtures in the facility

Maintain an adequate major and spare parts inventory

Maintain a neat and organized workspace inside the facility

Manage supplier relations and optimize cost effectiveness of supplier network

Advise ownership on equipment problem identification and resolution

Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely repairs of equipment

Manage sub-contracted maintenance and repair work

Perform other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

Experience as a maintenance mechanic in the spray drying industry preferred but not required

Experience as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial business required

Ability to work closely and collaboratively with senior management

Ability to work effectively with suppliers and the operations team
