We are looking to hire a UK Tax Manager to join our fast-growing accounting group in London!

Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, Head of UK Tax, the UK Tax Manager role will focus on UK related tax compliance, tax structuring/planning and tax auditing. The Manager will collaborate with other leaders in our UK, EU and US offices, as well with external advisors, to help support company growth in a tax efficient manner, as well as help train and develop more junior staff members of the UK tax team.

What you will be working on:

Tax Compliance

Support relationship management with the tax authorities and third-party advisors.

Provide input and support to senior management to improve efficiencies in direct and indirect tax processes.

Review and arrange amendments as necessary, of all direct and indirect tax documents for sign off and subsequent submission to the relevant tax authorities.

Tax Structuring

Participate and support in the expansion of the company by assisting in both tax structuring and planning.

Support and coordinate tax due diligence transaction related processes.

Ensure implementation of agreed post-acquisition transaction processes in entity onboarding.

Participate in transfer pricing discussions, helping to ensure that such policies are correctly implemented and documented by the company and monitor this on an ongoing basis.

Other tasks

Multi-task and manage multiple work streams.

Proactively expand tax knowledge base where necessary, to support the needs of the business.

Proactively support more junior staff on the team.

Assist in the application of any new global tax initiatives to the company (i.e. Pillar II)

Maintain a knowledge of changing relevant tax laws and regulations to identify, implement and apply any changes that are required in relation to the company.

What we need from you:

Degree in Accounting, Law, Tax or related field (Or professional equivalent i.e. ACA and/or CTA)

8+ relevant work experience in UK tax compliance and advisory work.

4+ years of supervisory experience.
