Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the insurance industry, located in Fairview Park, Ohio. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, providing the chance to work in a fast-paced and growing organization. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for the efficient, accurate, and timely processing of vendor-related payables, company credit cards, and employee expenses.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough reconciliation of accounts payable transactions while vigilantly monitoring payment deadlines.

Support both internal and external audits by furnishing comprehensive documentation and explanations pertaining to AP processes and transactions.

Manage intercompany financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Scrutinize and authenticate invoices and check requests with meticulous attention to detail.

Organize, categorize, and align invoices with appropriate backup and authorization.

Input invoices for payment into our management system accurately and promptly.

Execute check runs for timely dispatch.

Maintain vigilance over accounts to guarantee payments remain current.

Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices promptly.

Secure and maintain W-9's and ACH payment details for all vendors.

Interface with vendors and address inquiries promptly and professionally.

Oversee seamless data migration across multiple systems.

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

Ability to handle Check Runs

Strong technology skills
