Rafikis, a renowned cafe/ bar/ restaurant in the picturesque town of Ashburton, Devon is seeking a creative and experienced Head Chef to lead their kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the kitchen team to produce high:quality dishes consistently.

* Plan and design menus in collaboration with the management team, focusing on local and seasonal produce for an international menu.

* Manage food purchasing and storage to maintain standards and control stocks.

* Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.

* Train and develop kitchen staff to enhance skills and promote teamwork.

* Manage kitchen budgets and maintain financial and administrative records.

Requirements: * Proven experience as a Lead Chef or Kitchen Manager, preferably in a dynamic service environment.

* Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to thrive in a high:pressure environment while maintaining high standards.

* Culinary arts training or certification is desirable but not necessary.
