Data Engineer with Mainframe VSAM and SAS

Data Engineer with SAS, SQL, DataFlux (or Informatica) and VSAM

Additional experience shall include:

a. Minimum five (5) years of experience performing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) from multiple disparate data sources, including data analysis and data cleansing.

b. Minimum five (5) years of experience performing data quality.

c. Minimum five (5) years of experience with relational databases using Structured Query Language (SQL).

d. Minimum five (5) years of experience working with data modeling tools.

e. Minimum five (5) years of experience using SAS, DataFlux, and/or Informatica Data Quality data profiling tools.

f. Minimum three (3) years of experience working with mainframe data storage Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM) files.

HIGHLY desired:

a. Minimum of three (3) years of experience handling large dataset within DB2.

b. Minimum of three (3) years of experience with programming language such as Python or R.

c. Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a public sector transportation agency such as Motor Vehicles Department.

Remote work but may be asked to go onsite occasionally.

Term: W2 hourly contract.
