Responsibilities

GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking a Data Architect to support the corporate office of United Parks & Resorts located in Orlando, FL. As a Data Architect, you will collect, analyze, and understand complex business problems that need to be solved with data solutions. You will design, and help implement, document, and communicate data solutions. Your data solutions will provide access to various data domains to enable a wide variety of capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data architecture that aligns with our corporate data strategy and supports our long-term business goals.

Quickly get up to speed on existing data systems architecture

Translate business problems into technical specifications of data systems

Design new data systems that enable real-time operational use cases and analytical/ historical

Present, collaborate, and align business, data, and IT teams on optimal data solutions

Lead data teams with the delivery of new data solutions including data modeling, database design, and data engineering

Ensure data business Intelligence systems can meet the needs of the end users

Demonstrated expertise on data governance, data interoperability and data integration patterns and approaches, as well as data observability, data quality, and data privacy best practices

Lead our data teams with master data, metadata, and reference data management best practices

Develop and maintain a comprehensive data architecture roadmap, aligned with the corporate data strategy

Qualifications

Expertise with data systems architecture including on premise (MSSQL) and cloud data systems (Google Cloud Platform)

Expertise with data analysis using SQL (or python)

Demonstrated expertise with data modeling including 3NF, star schema, snowflaking, data warehousing, and MDM

Experience with BI systems

Must be available to work onsite in Orlando, FL as needed
