As a Cisco Security Services Architect, you’ll enjoy the power, training opportunity and expertise to dive deeper into the Cisco Security stack and drive customer adoption of Cisco security products and associated CDW professional and managed services. We will look to you to utilize creative thinking along with your broad technical knowledge base spanning Cisco security, the cloud and the inter-connectivity between them all to deliver industry leading solutions. As a Cisco Security Services Architect, you are a subject matter expert in multiple families of Cisco security solutions.

What you’ll do:

Acquires deep technical depth in their role; as the technical expert Cisco Security; is on the forefront of Cisco’s security solutions and the implications for CDW offerings.

· Design robust Cisco security related solutions based on competitive and market understanding with CDW services.

· Work with the Senior Manager to drive and provide deep input into the in the creation and execution of new Cisco security professional and managed service offerings.

Propose, scope, and execute Cisco presales security workshops, PoC’s with customer environments to drive CDW professional and managed service offerings sales.

Architect Cisco based technical solutions not only considering the customer’s technical environment but also the business limitations and opportunities of the market; operates comfortably beyond standard approaches to satisfy the needs of all the stakeholders.

Be a recognized expert and thought leader in the practical application of CDW and Cisco Security solutions.

Support the proposal, scope and execution of services through various programs that drive Cisco adoption and consumption and train Security Architects in this process and toolset(s).

Expand technical depth in Cisco products, solutions, and associated CDW services. Achieves certifications and technical depth in Cisco security technologies for CDW's Partner Certification Requirements.

Serve as a thought leader and Cisco Security evangelist, taking the lead in customer facing events, webinars, workshops and other go to market activities.

Architect technical solutions using standard approaches, considering the customer’s infrastructure limitations and opportunities; analyzes, interprets, and presents assessment results; operates comfortably beyond standard approaches to satisfy the needs of all the stakeholders.

Lead the development of Cisco based professional and managed service offerings, and support related GTM activities.

Advise CDW leadership regarding the potential market for managed Cisco services and develop associated cost and pricing models.

Architect, design and support the build of the backend technical enablement components to support CDW Cisco managed services and define automations and tools for professional services.

Assist in developing standardized templates of deliverables, tools, demo lab and scripts, and service calculators.

Conducts technology/solutions training for CDW audiences using individually developed material.

Contribute to the team’s knowledge base and readily shares knowledge with other FSAs and Sales. Including acting as SME on sales calls to enable customer decisions

Lead in-depth architectural discussions to ensure customer success by understanding business outcomes and translating them into technical requirements

Collaborate directly with the sales team to design solutions for customers using the best mix of vendor-partner products and solutions

Create and execute engaging sales presentations to prospective and current customers

Design solutions for customers using the best mix of vendor-partner products and solutions

Manage all technical aspects of the sale during the sales cycle

Follow industry technology trends and share that knowledge with current and prospective customer.

Lead trainings session for other Security Architects and delivery engineers as required.

What you need to succeed:

Must-have:

· 5+ years in an IT consulting or senior IT operations role

· Deep technical data centre and cloud architecture knowledge and experience in storage, computer, networking, and security

· Experience in collaborating directly with customers along with a proven track record of technical leadership and accomplishments.

· Two Cisco Certified Specialist certifications or a willingness to attain within six months of hire.

· Ability to communicate effectively and in a constructive manner with customers, coworkers, management and executives.

· Eager to take on new tasks/responsibilities and passion for customer experience, operational excellence and continuous development.

Nice-to-have:

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Strong understanding of Cisco Security solutions and presales experience

· Skills and experience with the following technologies: Dell/EMC, HPE, Cisco, NetApp, F5 Networks, VMWare, AWS, Cisco, Azure, GCP

· Ability to obtain and maintain relevant industry standard certifications
