Skills & Experience
A trade certificate or evident welding competency is required.
Duties & responsibilities:
Welds metal components together to fabricate or repair products, according to layouts or work orders, using Mig welding equipment
Performs related tasks, such as cutting, grinding, rolling, and painting steel materials
Fabricates a wide variety of dome structures from oral directions, sketches, and drawings to ensure the availability of items as needed
Maintains equipment and tools to ensure the availability and functioning of required items and ensure safety
Requests equipment and supplies for maintaining inventory and ensuring the availability of required items
Ensure the product is of acceptable quality and by specification
Ensure effective and efficient housekeeping upon completion of jobs
