Havenwood Pty Ltd is involved in a range of diverse residential and commercial construction projects, including the planning and development of a tourism / accommodation precinct and microbrewery in the regional locality of Rosewood, Ipswich.

We are seeking a full-time Project Co-ordinator to join our team. In this role you will be entrusted with the vital task of ensuring the smooth coordination and efficient execution of our various projects. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive project plans, providing technical support to project teams, coordinating with different stakeholders and maintaining meticulous documentation. Additionally, you will oversee quality control measures, monitor project progress and facilitate communication between diverse project clients.

This role demands versatility, attention to detail and effective communication skills to ensure the successful execution of a range of diverse projects. By effectively managing project plans, providing technical support and fostering collaboration, the Project Co-ordinator plays a crucial role in achieving project objectives and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Project Planning and Management:

- Developing detailed project plans encompassing timelines, budgets, resources

and risk assessments.

- Collaborating with project managers and team members to ensure alignment

with project goals and objectives.

- Monitoring project progress and identifying any potential risks or delays,

implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.

- Supporting in managing company vehicles and properties related expenses,

including maintenance.

2. Technical Support and Guidance:

- Providing technical support and guidance to project teams, offering assistance

with IT support, data analysis and information gathering.

- Facilitating communication between technical experts and other project

stakeholders to ensure clarity and understanding.

- Coordinating and scheduling meetings between various stakeholders including

council, engineers, town planners, interior designers and any other third-party

contractors for the Development Approvals (DA) process.

- Assisting in detailing floorplans to scale for architects and designers for future

building and developments.

- Supporting the sketch-up of engineer’s drawings using engineering software.

- Assisting in researching, reviewing and developing design operations and plans,

to enhance product and operational efficiency

- Participating in relevant trainings related to R&D projects.

3. Team Coordination and Communication:

- Coordinating with various teams, including design, manufacturing, construction

and maintenance teams, to ensure project goals are met.

- Serving as a central point of contact for project-related communication, fostering

collaboration and timely exchange of information.

4. Quality Control and Compliance:

- Ensuring correct materials and equipment are used in projects, adhering to

quality standards and regulations.

- Documenting progress reports, technical specifications, and scheduling between

different project clients, maintaining accurate records for reference.

- Detailing and maintaining Workplace Health and Safety plans and duties for all

employees - involved.

- Monitoring of operation to ensure work done under safe operating conditions.

- Keeping track of the documentation and ensured all relevant paperwork have

been signed off by staff.

- Ensuring staff competencies are adequate and if not, that any training is

engaged or provided.

5. Attending to any project-specific tasks as may be required from time to time.

Required Skills & Attributes for the role:

- Diploma or higher qualification in business administration, project management,

or a related field (qualifications in construction or engineering would be highly

regarded).

- At least two years of proven experience in project administration or coordination

is essential for this position.

- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.

- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.

- Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations is advantageous.

We are offering an attractive salary package commensurate with experience in the vicinity of $70,000 to $80,000.
