Location: Bethesda, MD (Hybrid)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of AI solutions within infrastructure environment, focusing on leveraging Azure Open AI to solve complex problems and improve service delivery.

Work closely with the IT team to identify opportunities for AI integration that aligns with business goals and infrastructure needs.

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Azure AI services, including Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Bot Services, to architect and implement AI solutions.

Collaborate with SharePoint engineers to enhance and automate SharePoint solutions using AI capabilities.

Partner with the cloud architect to ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, and efficiently integrated into the cloud infrastructure.

Provide technical guidance and support to service desk and desktop technicians in deploying AI-powered tools and applications for improved user support and satisfaction.

Stay abreast of the latest AI trends, tools, and technologies, especially within the Azure ecosystem, to ensure our AI initiatives are innovative and competitive.

Facilitate training and knowledge sharing sessions on AI technologies and best practices for the IT team.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

Proven experience in designing and implementing AI solutions, preferably in an Azure environment.

Strong expertise in Azure AI services, including but not limited to Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Bot Services.

Experience with general AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and data science principles.

Proficient in programming languages relevant to AI and machine learning, such as Python, R, or Scala.

Familiarity with SharePoint and cloud architectures, preferably Azure, including Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Certifications in Azure AI Engineer, Azure Data Scientist, or Azure Solutions Architect are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $122,400.00 to $165,600 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
