What you’ll do:

Assists the Manager of the Quality department in implementing, and maintaining the quality management system

Train personnel in manufacturing and quality to build quality awareness

Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive action for process, product, internal, and external customer concerns

Interfaces with Quality and production departments in auditing the injection and manufacturing processes to ensure quality expectations are met.

Supports the Quality Inspectors by programming the inspection routines in the available equipment to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system

Conducts audits, assists in closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports, and determining proper corrective and preventive actions

Assist the Quality Coordinator and Quality Manager to prepare PPAP packages according to customer-specific requirements

Assist in the managing of engineering samples and quality-controlled part shipment for under-development and non-approved processes

Learn to use available inspection equipment and instrumentation

Performs other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for:

Technical degree in quality or Equivalent Experience

3 years minimum experience

Technical knowledge of quality management systems, auditing, and quality systems

Good written, and verbal communication skills

Computer literate including software programs

Analytical/problem-solving capabilities

Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented

Ability to take on a leadership role

Works well under pressure

Ability to work independently as well as in teams

Possess a sense of urgency while performing tasks accurately

Dependable, self-motivated, strong work ethic, and innovative
