Job Description

Charlotte Mechanical is seeking an experienced Gas Piping Skilled Installer helper

Requirements

Installation of Gas Lines and fittings for Natural Gas and Propane

Ability to install black pipe, CSST and Trac pipe

Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings

General knowledge in all HVAC systems

Understand and apply NC gas codes

Ability to properly connect gas lines to fire places, outdoor grills, kitchen appliances, generators and other natural gas appliances

Ability to install gas piping for related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications

Must be able to read Blueprints and Gas Plans

The individual must have good communication skills. Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment; manage unexpected changes and/or situations. Must be able to follow instructions; respond to management direction. Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner.

The individual is frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Must be willing to work in an environment where they will be exposed to uncomfortable temperatures(hot/cold).

Must be willing/able go on overnight trips if needed.Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving recordMust pass a drug screenMust have a clean criminal background
