Job Summary

As the Assisted Living Manager with Goodwin Living, you will ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of residents in Assisted Living. You will assess residents and participates in development of Individual Service Plans, oversee the delivery of appropriate services to residents that allow a maximum level of independence in the congregate setting, and maintain close working relationship and open lines of communication with all departments to fulfill the psychosocial needs of residents, as well as clinical ones.

Job Duties

Coordinates an inter-disciplinary approach to the physical, emotional, psychological, familial, spiritual, social and nutritional needs of residents.

Implements Individual Service Plans and communicates such plans to care members. Attends service plan meetings.

Manages the delivery of services by caregivers to residents, including: daily rounds for supervision of care, resident status, environment and safety.

Completes incident repots, supervises admissions, manages nursing processes for discharges, transfers and change of conditions.

Provides oversight of Medication technicians assigned to Assisted Living, with a focus on accurate administration of medications and ongoing education of pharmacology.

Job Requirements

Must be a graduate of an approved RN or LPN program

Must have current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia or compact state of residence

Must have current CPR certification

Must have prior supervising experience
