Location: Orlando, FL

Salary: $100,000-$130,000/Annually

Role Description: The Embedded Firmware Engineer must have at least 9+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment of software used in telecommunication equipment.

- Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements into software programs.

- Responsible for the analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of existing programs.

- Maintain documentation and version control for software programs.

- Interface with software developers and testers to support testing and maintenance.

- Lead the software engineering process (unit testing, code reviews, documentation delivery) and support the test and integration process.

Skills Requirement:

- Demonstrated background in one or more programming languages and/or systems integration (C/C++ preferred, Linux, VHDL)

- Experience working with integrated product teams that may be geographically separated.

- Experience working with commercial development tools and processes

- Development experience within a LINUX cross-compilation environment using industry standard tools (gcc, cmake, git)

- Networking experience is preferred.

- Experience with managing security vulnerabilities is preferred.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering required, master’s degree preferred.

- 5+ years’ Experience in programming, preferably related to telecommunication and satellite communication systems.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 9+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
