Summary of Position:

As a Sr Program Manager at Lennar, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of our development and implementation of large-scale programs and projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, preferably within a technology organization, and hold a PMP certification.

Responsibilities:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, resources, and risk management strategies.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and accountability.

Stakeholder Management: Foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, addressing concerns and ensuring project alignment with business objectives.

Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions and deviations from project goals.

Quality Assurance: Oversee project deliverables, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and client expectations.

Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present project status reports, documentation, and performance metrics to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project outcomes, gather feedback, and implement process improvements for future projects.

Project Management Tools: Proficiency in project management software and tools for planning, scheduling, and tracking projects.

Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards successful project outcomes.

Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder management and team collaboration.

Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, ensuring timely resolution of project-related challenges.

Client Focus: Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service and building long-term relationships.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).

7+ years of experience managing development or implementation projects, preferably within a large technology organization. 10+ years preferred.

Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) designation and Six Sigma Certification is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Sr Program Manager to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.

This is a position which requires the Sr Program Manager frequent walking, standing and climbing of stairs in/around homes, models and properties. Must also have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.

Additional Requirements:

Strong quantitative and analytical foundation with the ability to translate data into actionable and relevant insights.

High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products.

Strong oral, written, listening and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in business terms using simple, concise, and relatable examples.

Ability to successfully engage and establish cooperative working relationships with Associates at various lines of business.

Display a nimble mind that can adapt thinking based on new points of view and/or changes in operating environments - an inability to be flexible can result in missed revenue opportunities.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, delegate work and provide leadership across functions.

Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Sets goals and objectives; Organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; Develops realistic action plans.
