Overview:

Corgan, a leading global architecture and interior design firm, is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Network & Systems Administrator.

This position will join our fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative technology team. As a member of the Core Technology Team, the Network & Systems Administrator will be instrumental in growing and supporting the firm’s global network and systems architecture. An ideal candidate uses sound judgment and decision making to maintain the innovative technology infrastructure of the firm and will be a key member of the Incident Response team, which is responsible for responding to cyber security events. Responsibilities:

Stay current with emerging technology and research to recommend future technology solutions

Mentor and help develop skills of teammates

Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs, such as backups, to ensure high availability and performance of critical technology resources

Keep networking equipment including switches and firewalls up to date with regular patching and upgrades

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure hardware, software, networking, and security issues

Serve as a member on the Incident Response Team

Maintain security procedures to protect systems from unauthorized use

Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.

Assists with Incident, Change, and Capacity management as it relates to network and systems infrastructure

Install and maintain operating systems and application software with regular patching and upgrading cadence

Provide end-user support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues

Produce high quality documentation

Participate in on-call rotation

Manage vendor relationships

Travel to other Corgan offices as required

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or equivalent training or work experience

7+ years of networking design, installation, maintenance and documentation experience

CCNA Certification preferred, CCNP a plus

LAN, WAN, SDWAN, MPLS and wireless network administration experience with Cisco switches, Palo Alto firewalls (or equivalent), Meraki (MS, MR and/or MX Platforms)

Understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)

Microsoft MCSA 2012 or higher preferred

System administration experience with Microsoft Windows Server and desktop platforms and Active Directory required

Administration experience of VMware infrastructure

Experience with Office 365 Administration, Azure, SCCM, AWS, SQL administration, preferred

Experience with web servers, IIS, Tomcat, Apache, et al

Experience with Veeam Backup and Replication preferred

Strong scripting experience. Bash, Korn, csh or sh, PowerShell, VBScript preferred

Excellent interpersonal, organizational and facilitation skills

Possess strong problem-solving, time management, and project management skills

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of business and technical personnel
