Software Engineering Senior Advisor (0251195)

Lead application and services architecture design and development. Deliver reliable and secure software solutions that meet operational specifications required through development of system logic. Review and guide code development from other team members through code reviews. Monitor all triage, debug, surveillance, performance, and scalability for non-development environments. Participate in software delivery. Write unit tests. Interface with and steer vendor partner consultants to ensure delivery of appropriate IT solutions. Mentor new hires and junior software developers. Partial virtual/work from home benefit available.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of IT experience (or a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 3 years of IT experience). Must have experience with: developing Spring Boot based web services on Pivotal Cloud Foundry and non-cloud based platforms; writing JUnit to unit test Java components; building SOAP UI Test Suite; integrating with Jenkins pipeline to automate post-deployment verification; developing Restful front-end and business services using Spring Boot and Java; JavaScript; Ajax; CSS; JSON; Eclipse; Hibernate; Git; Postman; SONAR; and MAVEN.
