Our Project Delivery Group (PDG) helps clients with world-class project delivery from studies to building assets, operating the assets, and developing efficiencies through our people, methodologies, governance, and systems. Our engineering and project management and construction disciplines ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery of projects globally across the metals and mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

Hatch is currently seeking a Junior Project Controls Professionals to join the Sydney team. This role will suit candidates with an interest in Engineering Consulting and EPCM projects in the Mining and Resources or Infrastructure sectors.

As the successful candidate, you will:

Provide project controls assistance to a number of engineering and study projects

Assist in establishing and maintaining project schedules in Primavera P6

Provide progress reports in accordance with the project reporting calendar, including resource histograms, progress curves and variance analysis

Provide cost control and change management support to projects

You bring to the role:

We are seeking candidates with either experience or desire to work in Project Controls within an Engineering environment, along with prior knowledge in Primavera P6 skills and/or similar project portfolio management software highly desirable. You will have a sound understanding of schedule & cost interface, along with ability to monitor and analyse progress measurement and report performance. Candidates must be proactive with good communication and interpersonal skills.
