Receiving Inspector

Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Receiving Inspector for an automotive manufacturing company in Roseville, MI. A successful Quality Inspector should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines.

This is a 1st shift position from 6am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday. Occasional overtime is available.

Responsibilities of the Receiving Inspector:

Read and interpret materials, such as work orders, inspection manuals, and blueprints, to determine inspection and test procedures.

Inspect materials, products, and work in progress for conformance to defined requirements.

Mark items for acceptance or rejection, record test results and inspection data, and compare findings with specifications.

Confers with vendors and others regarding inspection results, recommends corrective procedures, and compiles reports of results, recommendations, and repairs.

Test and measure finished products, components, or assemblies for functioning, operation, and accuracy to verify adherence to functional specification.

Read dials and meters to ensure equipment is operation according to specifications.

Required Qualifications of the Receiving Inspector:

Knowledge and experience in measuring equipment such as Calipers, and Micrometers is required.

Understanding of computers and in programs like Word, Excel, and Office strongly preferred.

A minimum of 2 years on the job experience in mechanical inspection.

Fast learners, and detail-oriented people encouraged to apply.
