Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections of railway tracks to ensure they are in compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Maintain accurate records of inspections and track maintenance activities, including the location and nature of any issues found.

Collaborate with other members of the track maintenance team to develop and implement plans for repairing and maintaining railway tracks.

Operate specialized equipment, such as track inspection vehicles or ultrasonic testing devices, to assess the condition of the tracks and identify potential hazards.

Requirements

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

5+ years of experience in railroad track inspection or related field.

Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.

Proficiency in using track inspection equipment and software.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
