Senior Accountant

Join the team at a small independent firm of chartered accountants near St. Leonards-on-Sea! TPF Recruitment is currently supporting this firm and seeking candidates for the position of Accounts Senior.

Position Summary:

Prepare accounts and tax returns for Sole Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies, and LLPs.

Handle the preparation and submission of VAT returns using software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Excel, etc.

Perform company secretarial work.

Manage new client onboarding, including meeting clients, providing fee quotes, preparing terms of engagement, etc.

Assist in the preparation and submission of service charge accounts (full training provided).

Provide full client access.

Supervise and provide training to trainees as needed.

Follow up on client debts monthly.

Ensure all client work is completed on time, meeting deadlines on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.

Requirements

Requirements:

The suitable candidate will be nearly, newly, or post-qualified ACA or ACCA or must carry the relevant experience.

A minimum of 3 years working within an accountancy practice.

Forward-thinking, and keen to develop within a successful expanding team.

Friendly, personable, and able to communicate directly with clients.

Benefits

A generous salary of £30,000 - £45,000 is available subject to the candidate's skills and experience.
