Engineering Cost Estimator

Industry: Manufacturing

Principal Responsibilities:

Works with engineers to identify processes and tooling that may be required to produce the product being cost estimated.

Collaborate with engineer team

Identifies labor, material and time requirements

Computes costs

Creates quote responses and submits them to the Sales department.

Analyzes completed jobs to compare quoted labor time, material, and outside processes.

Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

2 year Technical/Engineering degree

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing estimating or engineering.

AutoCAD/Inventor 3D experience

Experience in metal working manufacturing environment

Roll form, press brake, and welding estimating experience
