Principal Advanced Analysis Structural Engineer

Role Context:

As a Principal Advanced Analysis Engineer at Worley, you will be responsible for managing the high-end non linear structural engineering finite element analysis work within Advance Analysis Group, and providing structural integrity consulting services to both the Worley group and selected external clients.

You'll be:

· Providing specialist advice on structural integrity and reliability modelling.

· Provide advice and analysis on failure probability and consequence.

· Overall supervision of finite element engineers/analysts.

· Technical competence of analysis personnel.

· Forecast requirement for resources, and allocate those resources.

· Structural design integrity of work scope and maintenance of standards.

· Identify software necessary to enable advanced analysis group to function effectively.

· Interdisciplinary communication development.

· Manage engineering design and any design changes within budget and schedule.

You'll have:

· A Bachelor of Engineering (Structural/Mechanical).

· Experience in working in a structural engineering team within a large multidiscipline project team.

· A comprehensive understanding of structural analysis in the areas of dynamic loading and resistance, collapse analysis, spectral fatigue analysis, fire and explosion design, reliability based analysis, dropped object etc. is essential.

· Experience in using finite element analysis to predict structural failure is essential.
