Sage Business Systems Analyst

Our client is an innovator in providing mid-market ERP solutions along with next-generation technologies that empower companies to achieve their full potential. With know-how in financial services, accounting, business operations, personnel management, and customer experience, they serve as a trusted guide to small and medium-sized organizations across various industries nationwide.

Due to rapid growth, they have engaged us to find an experienced Sage 300 Consultant / Business Analyst to join their team. Sage is a major part of their professional services business, and they manage and support the Sage 300 environments for many key customers. They are looking for someone to join the team who has in-depth knowledge of Sage 300 from a functional perspective (and technical) and who can be the point of contact for the customer for gathering requirements for enhancements, upgrades, and functional troubleshooting of the Sage 300 environment.

This position is fully remote, and this person can work out of anywhere in the US or Canada.

The Role You’ll Play

As the Sage 300 Consultant / Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting core organizational functions as well as assisting with upgrades, training, and support for the Sage 300 ERP solution. You will work directly with customers to identify business requirements with sufficient detail and clarity to allow technical solution proposal development and deployment. This will also involve identifying, communicating, and resolving systems issues in order to maximize the benefit of Sage 300 system investments. You will work closely with other consultants, customer service, and the sales team to develop and close services projects and maintain customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and ease of ongoing support.

Lead project teams in defining, planning, and implementing the Sage 300 solution.

Manage projects utilizing appropriate tools and resources to document processes, timelines, and responsibilities.

Provide friendly phone, online, and (occasionally) on-site consulting services for clients using Sage 300 software.

Work with customers to achieve the best solutions for customers to maximize product use, benefits, and functionality.

Work closely with clients to capture business requirements and provide guidance

Collaborate with sales team to develop and close service deals

Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent customer service

Background Profile:

A Bachelor's degree in accounting or computer science, information technology, quality assurance, or equivalent is strongly preferred.

Minimum of 5 plus years of experience using Sage 300

2 plus years experience implementing ERP solutions desired but not required.

Understanding of operational processes and requirements in the ERP world, including but not limited to distribution and/or manufacturing with a functional competency in accounting, quote to cash, procure to pay, operations, e-commerce or CRM functions highly desired.

Experience in providing support related to product demonstrations and assisting in needs analysis and solution recommendations.

Experience with project scoping, planning, requirements gathering, business process mapping, and end-to-end process experience desired.

Experience in utilizing defined and structured implementation processes and project management methodologies desired.

Solid communication skills with good follow-up and follow-through on assigned tasks and responsibilities to timeline.
