Exchange Bank of Canada is seeking a driven professional, with strong attention to detail to join their team as a Processing Specialist!

Role Purpose: A Processing Specialist internally services the customers by maintaining their inventory through performing record center tasks including retrievals, incoming, destructions, internal moves, permanent withdrawals and any special projects requested.

Essential Functions:

CAD Dollar Inventory:

Prepare CAD dollar packages for courier

Verify courier re-deposits.

Adjust CAD dollar inventory accordingly

Verify CAD cash receiving from clients

Daily balancing of CAD cash

Foreign Currency Inventory:

Verify incoming foreign currencies.

Consolidate foreign currencies to sell to wholesale traders and/or replenish inventory.

Ship foreign currencies via FedEx to clients.

Ship foreign currencies via Armored Couriers.

Ensure outgoing shipments are accurate.

Daily inventory balancing of all major foreign currencies, and bi-weekly for all minor foreign currencies.

Record armored shipments for reporting.

Maintain accurate counts of all foreign banknotes in inventory.

Contract all obsolete banknotes.

Inform the Operations department of any modification or adjustment made to an order in a timely fashion.

Fill foreign currency orders on ATM dispenser

Procedures:

Comply with all Company policies and procedures as found in the Vault Manual and other Company Operations Manual.

Adhere to all security procedures in place including, ensuring that entrance door is always closed at all times; only allow to enter in the Vault those individuals who have been granted clearance.

Compliance:

As a member of Exchange Bank of Canada’s Team, you help ensure that all orders and wholesale transactions adhere to all regulatory guidelines and company policies and procedures.

Required Education & Experience:

Holds or is obtaining a related degree.

1 year of related experience.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening work may be required as job duties demand.
