Review batch tickets – read, understand and follow. Provide samples to the lab. Pack product into designated containers; labeling containers. Report near miss incidents and improvement opportunities. Equipment cleaning, plant cleaning, waste disposal. Forklift operation. Understand SAP inventory. Tub washer. Gather and weigh ingredients (scale operation).

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st & 2nd shift available

Starting Pay – $21

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 3 years of manufacturing/production experience, forklift experience preferred

POSITION TYPE / RATE OF PAY / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

• Regular, Full-Time, Non-Exempt

• $21/HOUR

• Mon-Friday training from 8 am-4 pm, after training 6 am-2 pm to start with possible move to second shift 10am-6 pm with overtime as needed

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Review batch tickets – read, understand and follow

• Provide samples to lab

• Pack product into designated containers; labeling containers

• Report near miss incidents and improvement opportunities

• Equipment cleaning, plant cleaning, waste disposal

• Forklift operation

• Understand SAP inventory

• Tub washer

• Gather and weigh ingredients. (scale operation)

• Stock rotation / minimization of partial containers

• Ingredient traceability

• Operate and trouble shoot mixing equipment

• Combine ingredients in designated sequence

• Training others

• Preliminary quality checks

• Wear appropriate PPE at all times & maintain a clean work area and work safely

• Participate actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs and training session

• Follow all standard operating procedures with respect to performance of position duties & stays

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must have at least some basic computer skills, understanding of batch ticketing (EBT) systems or ability to learn quickly

• Basic math skills and ability to work with percentages

• Capable of repeatedly lifting 55 lbs. and standing for long periods of time

• Willing to work 2nd shift – 40 hours a week with some overtime

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment

• Experience with batch manufacturing preferred
