Job Details:

We are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive, accurate, and competitive cost estimates for various multifamily apartment projects. With your extensive knowledge and experience, you will play a vital role in the financial planning of our projects and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional results to our clients.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Estimator, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and delivering accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for various construction projects, particularly in

multifamily/mixed-use, and senior living projects.

2. Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products,

projects, or services, applying knowledge of specialized methodologies, techniques, principles, or processes.

3. Conducting risk and opportunity assessments during the bid process to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.

4. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand the scope of work, requirements, and key project

objectives.

5. Providing technical support and advice to project teams during the pre-construction and construction phases.

6. Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and practices in construction estimating.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 of experience in the construction industry, specifically in an estimator role.

2. Proven experience with multifamily, senior living, and/or student housing construction.

3. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

4. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills with a keen eye for detail.

5. Proficiency in using estimating software and other relevant computer applications.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

7. Strong negotiation and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

8. A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

9. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity.
