We are seeking a Packaging Machine Operator, based in our Byhalia Factory location.

The position is on PM rotation, the 2PM- 2AM and the days are rotating 2-2-3.

Your future team:

Packaging Machine Operators are members of the Production team and report to the Production Supervisor. The ROCKWOOL The Production team is responsible for ensuring the production goals are achieved.

What you bring:

Experience in machine set-up and computers.

Drive, commitment, positive attitude and high energy.

Must know how equipment operates in order to clear equipment safely.

Must be a self-starter.

Good people and communication skills: must be able to communicate well with all departments.

Must be a team player.

The ability to read and understand written instructions.

Hands-on problem solver

Must be able to take direction and work at times with minimal supervision.

What you will be doing:

Change Foil rolls and Bundler rolls as necessary.

Keep bagger and bundler deck in proper condition and ensure baggers are and bundlers are adequately supplied.

Remove and store excess bag rolls or bundler rolls in order to maintain a safe work area.

Re-wrap undamaged product and properly report and dispose of damaged/faulty product.

Keep proper inventory of labels.

Locate and correct all improper labeled product.

Monitor, operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
