SUMMARY

The Finance Analyst, APAC will support the accounting activities of the Region network. The Finance Analyst, APAC is expected to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, independence, integrity and commitment at all times.

This position is based in Malaysia (KL) and reports directly to the Controller, APAC / FP&A Director, APAC based in Singapore.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide pre-actuals reporting and analysis in accordance with reporting calendar and provide comments on business performance.

Provide analysis for Net Working Capital:

Aging follow up

Following up with offices on NWC variances

Monthly comments in powerpoint decks on NWC variances

Quarterly NWC forecast

Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting exercises

Provide support to collate legal entities update

Provide support on any other FP&A analysis as required across clients, P&L and forecasting data

Support IFRS 16 lease reconciliation

Perform intercompany balances reconciliation and follow up with markets

Provide support to Reporting Team, perform Regional controls checks on dormant/inactive/holding co.

REQUIREMENT

3- 5 years relevant industry experience with large, fast-growing, multi-national company

Must come with strong FP&A skills (budgeting, forecasting, analysis, etc.)

Good consolidation and analysis skills

Recognized accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA)

Strong knowledge of lFRS

Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

Good excel and powerpoint skills

Superb attention to detail yet possesses an understanding of the 'big picture”

Proven record of process improvement

Flexible and enthusiastic, with a positive "can-do" attitude

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skill
