Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter and exit the store.
Maintain a visible presence at the store entrance to deter theft and unauthorized activities.
Assist in preventing and addressing shoplifting and other security concerns.
Apprehend criminals and evict violators.
Report any suspicious activities or incidents to store management or the appropriate authorities.
Assist the management of customer queues during peak hours.
Maintain knowledge of store layout and the location of emergency exits.
Monitor and enforce adherence to store policies and safety regulations.
Assist with crowd control during busy periods or special events.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
This position may involve working various (rotational) shifts, including evenings, graveyards, and holidays, to ensure store security during peak hours.
The candidate may need to lift and carry objects weighing up to a certain amount.
The role may require standing or walking for extended periods.
