EY- GDS CCaSS – Staff - ESG Reporting

As part of our EY-Managed Services Team, the Staff will be responsible for working closely with CCaSS (Climate Change and Sustainability) seniors and managers on clients and engagements across global locations to provide end to end ESG Reporting services.

The Opportunity

The Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Managed Services team is part of the global firm. We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team. The team is at the core of the Firm's strategy, working with industries and practice areas to orchestrate the ESG delivery efforts and solve the most complex challenges in more cohesive, consistent, and exponentially powerful ways.

We're looking for an incumbent who is accountable for the timeliness and quality of work performed in accordance with project requirements for our Managed Services team and possess basic ESG reporting knowledge.

Your key responsibilities

Assist Seniors in data management and analysis for ESG reporting.

Use the available guidance’s on ESG knowledge and frameworks for providing technical support, as and when required.

Maintain effective coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Assist Seniors / Managers in preparing metrics for ESG Reporting process.

Work with global teams under leadership guidance in driving the ESG Reporting managed services engagements.

Assist in build the necessary documents like SOPs and other end user training materials.

Follow through on client requests in a timely fashion, and manage expectations regarding the timing of deliverables and reports.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with global counterparts.

Skills and attributes for success

Data management and analytics.

Should have good communication skills and shall be good at preparing control documents, prepare presentations and shall also be a good presenter.

Shall consistently deliver quality services and take charge of the assigned engagement.

Should have Knowledge of sustainability and GHG reporting.

Knowledge on materiality, double materiality and gap assessment is desirable.

Ability to thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Self-motivated, innovative, and strong team player.

Demonstrate willingness to learn new solutions, approaches, and methodologies for project delivery.

Knowledge of sustainability frameworks such as GRI, TCFD, CSRD, CDP, ISSB, SASB is desirable.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Bachelor’s degree e.g. B.Tech, BSc. BBA

Master’s degree e.g. MBA, M.Tech would be a plus

1-3 years relevant experience including experience in ESG reporting, Financial reporting or experience working in corporate strategy.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Proficiency in MS – Excel, MS – Office.

Understanding of any Data analytics/visualisation tools will be additional advantage.

Strong communication, Interpersonal, Analytical Skills & highly proactive in approach.
