Billing Coordinator/Accounts Receivable Specialist

My client is looking to hire a Billing Coordinator/Accounts Receivable Specialist!

The ideal candidate will be a crucial member of the finance team reporting directly to the COO. Along with a background in hazardous waste billing, the candidate will possess tremendous communication skills with the ability to thrive within a family-based office environment. Essential job functions:

Accurate and timely management of billing processes, including preparing invoices, managing accounts receivable, and addressing client inquiries.

Manage and process full accounts receivable workflow including invoicing and collection.

Review contract and proposal documents that adhere to industry standards and regulations.

Post transactions to journals and ledgers.

Maintain and update customer records and billing data.

Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation.

Collaborate with multiple departments maintaining seamless financial management.

Qualifications:

2+ years as a Billing Coordinator, ideally within the Hazardous Waste Solutions sector or a similar industry.

Thorough understanding of billing and financial practices.

Proficient with billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Comfortable reading and interpreting legal documents.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Maintains excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
